Barjac,
cité Renaissance, , is a little village located
on a plateau of 170 meters high. Barjac is situated between the Cèze
and the Ardèche rivers, halfway between Aubenas and Pont-St-Esprit,
in this picturesque région of the gorges, last stopping place
of the Pays d’Uzès, and of the Bas-Vivarais, at the limits
of the cévennes. The Provence, a pearl hidden in its casket,
seems to welcome warmly the visitors under a mediterranean shiny sky. |
