Due to its privileged geographical location, the region around Barjac is a fine departure point for many tourist itineraries around the Cèze valley, the canyons located in Ardèche, the Cèvennes Mountains and the landscape known as garrique in the vicinity of Nimes.

• From the hillsides of the Cèvennes Mountains to the valleys of the côtes du Rhone, our region provides the harmony to discover life's true values.  Visitors will be surprised by alternate sublime landscapes.
• The region's past is rich with the history of agriculture, coal mines, and silk production. It has forged a mentality in the villagers close to the land, authentic, warm, and peaceful where generosity and well-being are abundant.

The tourist office offers year-long complete information about the tourist possibilities in the region and beyond.

You wish to find accommodations for your holidays, a room for the night, a restaurant, a site for your camping car, dates of cultural events: you will find answers to all these questions in our 2-star Tourist office (part of the Regional Federation of Tourist offices).

You wish to visit the historic centre of Barjac, take walks with or without a guide, obtain information about tourist sites in our region (caves, museums, etc). This information too can be found in our office.

We will help you prepare your vacation holiday in the best conditions using our varied documentation.
